Code Name: Ghost (A Warrior's Challenge #1)

I finished reading Code Name: Ghost by  a few days ago and I loved it!  This book has some of my favorite elements which include a military hero (SEALs to be exact!), suspense and a strong heroine.  The one thing missing in this book is a Happily Ever After or even a Happily For Now.  Ms. Waters really does leave the reader hanging but thankfully the sequel, Kayla's Fire is due out November 22!

Code Name: Ghost had plenty of action scenes where we get to watch the SEALs in action.  Is there anything better than tough, smart, smokin' hot men doing what they do best?  I didn't think so!  And this story also lets the heroine get in on the action.

I'm very glad I took a chance on this book.  Now I have a new author to watch ( and read! ).

Some of my favorite authors / series

I have been discovering new authors and quite a few are making my favorites list!  It all started with Kit Rocha's Beyond series.  I never thought I would like dystopian fiction after my high school readings of 1984 and Brave New World.  But along comes Kit Rocha's Beyond Shame and I was hooked!  This series has elements of BDSM and menage relationships as well. I haven't found another series quite like this one but it got me started looking.

Next I found Kallypso Masters and her Rescue Me Masters-At-Arms series.  I was hooked with the introductory book which is free right now.  My favorite book is Nobody's Hero.  Master Adam and his rope skills are incredibly hot!  This whole series is wonderful and I'm looking forward to Somebody's Angel due to arrive in December 2013.

Then the Cherise Sinclair's Shadowlands series came to my attention.  Oh my!  What a group of Doms! They are all so big and dominant - totally hot!  Then the subs are wonderful too.  I love Master Z who runs the Shadowlands. I also like Cherise's other books that are BDSM related.

Another author / series that I like is Chloe Cox and the ClubVolare' series.  I haven't read the entire series yet but I have read 4 of them and like them.  I started with Sold to the Sheikh and moved on the Marrying the Master.  I know I skipped a couple of books in between but these are great stand alone novels.

Happy reading!

Books I'm anxiously awaiting!

November 5th is a huge date!  Cherise Sinclair's Masters of the Shadowlands 8:  If Only releases November 5, 2013 from Loose Id.  Yes!  Finally we will get Sally's story.  I am so excited to watch what happens when the Feds get their turn.  There is a preview on the link above if you haven't already seen it.

Also on November 5th is Katie Evans' Mine which is the second book in the Real series.  I loved reading about Remy and Brooke and cannot wait for Mine.

Then on November 26th the third book in the Real series, Remy will be released!  Woohoo!  A second book in one month!  Go Katie!

December looks like another great month.  Andrea Smith will be releasing book three in her G-Man series. This one, Night Moves, is Easton and Darcy's story.

Also in December will be Kallypso Masters' newest in her Masters-at-Arms series, Somebody's Angel!  I feel like I have been waiting forever for this one!  Not really since I just found this series in June, but having devoured the first 4 books, I am excited about this one!
